Thank you so much for considering booking your Christmas Tree Farm Mini Session with Bluebird Photography! I hope to spend some time with you and your family at Doby Christmas Tree Farm creating beautiful holiday memories.

To help everything run smoothly and ensure everyone has the best experience possible, please take a moment to review a few important reminders before your session.

📍 Session Location

Doby Christmas Tree Farm

Cameron, NC

(If you need directions or have trouble finding the farm on the day of your session, don't hesitate to reach out.)

⏰ Please Arrive On Time

Mini sessions run on a very tight schedule, with only 10 minutes between each family.

Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early so everyone is ready to begin at your scheduled time. Unfortunately, late arrivals may reduce your shooting time to avoid impacting the families booked after you.

🎄 What to Expect

These sessions are designed to feel natural, relaxed, and fun!

Many of your images will be lifestyle and action-based, including moments like:

  • Hanging ornaments on the trees (ornaments will be provided)
  • Walking through the rows of Christmas trees
  • Playing, laughing, and interacting as a family
  • Snuggling, exploring, and enjoying the experience together

Of course, we'll also capture several classic posed portraits for your Christmas cards and keepsakes.

If you have a specific pose, family combination, or special request, please let me know as soon as possible so I can plan ahead and make the most of your session time.

🌲 Help Us Respect the Farm

Doby Christmas Tree Farm is a working Christmas tree farm, and we're grateful they've allowed us to photograph there.

Please help us care for their property by following these simple rules:

  • Please do not climb on the trees.
  • Please do not break branches or damage any trees.
  • Follow any directions given while on the property.

🚜 This Is a Working Farm

Because we're photographing on an active farm, you may encounter:

  • Mud
  • Uneven ground
  • Tractors and farm equipment
  • Farm animals

Please supervise children closely and keep pets on a leash at all times to help prevent injury and protect the farm.

Wear footwear you're comfortable walking in, especially if we've had recent rain.

I know many parents worry before photo sessions...

"What if my toddler won't sit still?"

"What if my kids don't cooperate?"

"What if the dog gets distracted?"

"What if someone cries?"

I promise...it's okay.

Some of the most treasured images come from the imperfect moments—the giggles, the cuddles, the curious little explorers, and even the occasional tears. Those moments tell your family's story.

Your only job is to relax, have fun, and enjoy your time together. I'll take care of the rest.
